Pastoral Care & Assistance

Home, Aged Care & Hospital Ministry

Upon request the parish priest will make home and/or hospital visits to offer the Ministry to the Sick including Holy Anointing and Holy Communion. If the person is in the final stages of their life, the ministry of Extreme Unction (anointing) and Viaticum (holy communion) is available at any time upon request. If urgent pastoral care is required in a hospital then please ask the nurse looking after the patient to contact the hospital pastoral care team for assistance.

The parish is able to assist anyone in genuine need who require the basic clothing necessities, especially in winter. Please contact the parish priest who can refer you to a staff member of the opportunity shop.
